Our Merino sheep wool blankets are made of top-grade 1/2" pile fabric and are available with 100% cotton or 100% cotton flannel backing. These blankets are naturally soft, cozy, and easy to clean, making them an ideal choice for anyone, particularly for those who tend to feel chilly or have health issues.

THE MIRACLE OF WOOL

This natural material has the ability to absorb and expel moisture from the skin, thus reducing the presence of harmful bacteria. It is highly effective in preventing and treating the top three causes of skin irritation: moisture, pressure, and chafing. With the ability to absorb up to 40% of its weight in moisture, it also counters the natural loss of moisture that occurs during both waking and sleeping. This helps the skin to breathe, resulting in strong and healthy skin. Suitable for use in all climates, it acts as a natural insulator and helps maintain a core body temperature of 37°C/98.6°F, promoting optimal blood circulation. Additionally, it has natural resistance to bacteria, mold, and fungus, and does not absorb body odors.

WOOL PRODUCT CARE

• Merino sheep’s wool-pile fabric, acrylic backing.
• Machine wash up to 70°C on a wool or gentle cycle.
• Tumble dry to 85% or hang to dry.
• Eucalan or a lanolin-based soap is best to preserve the softness of the wool.
• Tea Tree oil soap can be used to disinfect.
• Do Not Bleach.
• We meet Canadian Infection Control Standards.
• Shedding is normal with new products.  Place item in dryer on air for 5 minutes to remove excess fibres.
